Summer 2020 Programs

Alpha Xi Delta is excited to offer the following programs for summer 2020 to our undergraduate Sisters.

The Workout

May 28-31, 2020
Georgia Institute of Technology, located in Atlanta, Georgia

The Workout, Alpha Xi Delta's comprehensive recruitment training program, is offering one session this summer. 

Who should attend?
All Membership Vice Presidents are required to attend The Workout. A second representative (Recruitment Data Director, Recruitment Events Director, Recruitment 365 Director or COB Director) is highly encouraged to attend. If the MVP is not available to attend, approval is needed to send another representative in her place. Please contact Heather Chibuk, Director of Membership Growth & Marketing, for approval before the registration deadline of March 15.


How to register: The Workout registration will open on January 15 via Exclusively Xi, under Events, and will end on March 15. Late registration will be available until March 31 for an additional fee of $50 per participant. *A change fee of $50 will be applied to any participant changes made after the registration deadline.

 Summer Immersion

May 31-June 4, 2020
Greater Washington, D.C. area

This program allows collegiate members to gain a deeper understanding of autism spectrum disorders by collaborating and developing connections with Autism Speaks while spending a week fully immersed in the focus points of our partner’s mission: understanding and acceptance, family services, advocacy and research.

Who should attend?
Philanthropy Vice Presidents and/or anyone interested in learning more about Autism Speaks and its mission.

How to register: We are no longer accepting applications for Summer Immersion.

The Founders' Academy

June 4-7, 2020
University of Maryland in College Park, MD

The Founders’ Academy is the premier summer educational opportunity for Chapter Presidents and emerging leaders. Utilizing CliftonStrengths™, participants will honor who they are by focusing on what makes them amaXIng!

Chapter Presidents and emerging leaders

How to register: The Founders' Academy registration will open on January 15 via Exclusively Xi, under Events, and will end on March 31.
