Hannah's Story

Autism has always been a big part of my life. I grew up with an older brother who was on the Autism Spectrum. I loved him so much and wanted to do anything for him. He passed away just six years ago and it has made a huge impact on my life.

When I heard the college I was attending had a women’s fraternity on campus that supported Autism Speaks I knew that was the place I belonged. One of the happiest days of my life was receiving the bid from Alpha Xi Delta and without hesitation accepted the bid right away. Ever since then this chapter has been such a big influence on my life. Our chapter is very small but I think that helps make us closer than ever. I have meet amazing girls that I now call my Sisters and I get to hold the position of Philanthropy Vice President which has put me in the front for helping in raising money for a philanthropy that has also been a part of my own life.
