Alumnae dues are voluntary and are not required to be a member in good standing.
Dues are $25 per year. Members are encouraged to renew their alumnae dues on June 1 each year.
Alpha Xi Delta is a 501(c)(7) organization which means membership fees are not tax deductible.
The Alpha Xi Delta Foundation is a separate entity that supports the educational, leadership and charitable purposes of the sorority, as well as awarding scholarships for collegians and alumnae. The Alpha Xi Delta Foundation is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization, which means that all gifts to the Foundation are tax-exempt to the fullest extent allowed by law.
The Fraternity is a 501(c) (7) social organization because the work of the Fraternity is focused on recruitment, public relations, chapter and alumnae association management and facility management. Contributions to the Fraternity are not tax deductible.
Each alumnae association sets its own locally managed dues that are used to fund the association’s activities. Be the Heart dues are paid directly by individual members to the Fraternity. Alumnae associations collect a $25 national dues payment (separate from their local association dues) from their members, which is sent to the National Fraternity and enrolls each association member as a Be The Heart alumnae dues paying member.
