Our Commitment to a broad, purposeful education

With the cost of tuition on the rise, scholarships can help ease the financial stress on our Sisters so they can stay focused on completing their degrees. Alpha Xi Delta Foundation scholarships are made possible thanks to the generosity of alumnae, families, and friends who believe in the power of education and Sisterhood. Alumnae members enrolled in a graduate program and collegiate members who are in good standing are eligible for general scholarships, regardless of chapter or field of study. Some scholarships do have restrictions or preferences as requested by donors.

How to Apply

We're happy to answer your questions!

The scholarship committee evaluates applications based on academic performance, chapter and community involvement, need and letters of recommendation. All candidates are evaluated equally and considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible; no need to stipulate a specific scholarship. Some scholarships do have criteria that apply to specific members or chapters, which will be considered in the application evaluation process. In some years, certain scholarships may not be awarded. Applications typically open at the end of the year and close on March 1.

This scholarship will aid me in realizing my potential this academic year because it brings some comfortability finishing out my senior year. As someone who is considering grad school, this scholarship makes it possible for me to look further into that and think about my long-term goals.

As a first-generation student, and first-generation Greek life member, I have nothing but gratitude to show for my community in Alpha Xi Delta. Being in college is a growing experience that can definitely be a lot to juggle, but being a part of a network of people who are here to root for you and support you to be the best that you can be makes it all worthwhile.
