
Cullowhee, NC– Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity proudly accepted an invitation to reestablish its Epsilon Gamma Chapter at Western Carolina University in the fall of 2026.
“We are thrilled to bring the Epsilon Gamma Chapter back home to Western Carolina University. The fraternity and sorority community is flourishing at Western Carolina University, and we look forward to welcoming New Members into our Sisterhood next year,” said Elysia Gallivan, Alpha Xi Delta National Executive Director.
Alpha Xi Delta staff and volunteers will hold meetings with campus professionals and student leaders this spring. A full, Fraternity-coordinated reestablishment effort will occur the fall 2026 semester, followed by a five-year period of extra care as this new chapter’s success is fostered and assured.
Located in Cullowhee, North Carolina, Western Carolina University’s student body is comprised of more than 11,000 students including more than 9,000 undergraduate students. WCU is a public regional institution and is a member of the University of North Carolina (UNC) System. Founded in 1889, it has grown into a major educational and cultural force in the region, known for its commitment to quality education, applied learning, and community engagement.
