Most campus housing and apartments will require their residents to maintain minimum levels of liability coverage and coverage on their personal property. These policies offer residents protection in case of a covered loss which can be a substantial out of pocket cost. Alpha Xi Delta engaged our insurance broker to provide this coverage as an extra layer of protection for our members while they are in our chapter facilities. The program is provided to all Alpha Xi Deltas living in a chapter house covered under our master insurance program.

Alpha Xi Delta’s insurance broker, Holmes Murphy, is managing the program from NSSI (National Student Services Inc.) on our behalf.

National Housing Corporation (NHC) managed chapters will see this charge on their BillHighway account along with their live-in fees as a separate line item due either once during the term of the agreement or spread over two payments (members can select that option when they execute their agreement). Chapters managed by a Local Building Corporation (LBC) should contact the LBC with questions on how payment will be remitted.

Members who can provide their own coverage are able to submit a request to opt-out of the program. Please review your live-in agreement for any dates, coverage minimums, and where to submit this request.

Our team will forward any questions received that are managed by a Local Building Corporation to an appropriate contact on that local board. Any questions related to an “opt-out” request should be directed as outlined in your live-in agreement.
