Pomona, California - Alpha Xi Delta welcomed new members into its emerging chapter at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona located in Pomona, California on Sunday, October 23.
Throughout the recruitment process, Alpha Xi Delta looked for students who exemplified leadership potential, enthusiasm about being part of Alpha Xi Delta and women who would advance Alpha Xi Delta at Cal Poly Pomona. "With any new chapter, Alpha Xi Delta looks to establish a solid foundation of campus leaders because many of these new members will take on leadership roles and officer positions within their chapter," said Elysia Gallivan, Alpha Xi Delta National Executive Director.
Michelle Davis, an Alpha Xi Delta Educational Leadership Consultant, will remain on campus with the new chapter for the rest of the year to guide the new members in the logistics of running the sorority. The new chapter will begin holding regular meetings and participating in campus activities.
