Submitting a Member Recommendation Form is just one of the many ways you can help a collegiate chapter during recruitment. Information provided by alumnae and other members of Alpha Xi Delta will help the chapter recognize Alpha Xi Delta legacies and select strong women for membership in our organization. If you know an outstanding young woman who will be going through recruitment this year at a university that has an Alpha Xi Delta chapter, please fill out a Member Recommendation Form. Remember, the more information that a chapter has about a potential member the better.
Member Recommendation Forms must be received by August 1 for all fall recruiting chapters and January 1 for all spring recruiting chapters. This will ensure the chapter has plenty of time to receive and review your form before formal recruitment begins.
How to Submit a Member Recommendation Form
All Member Recommendation Forms should be submitted to Fraternity Headquarters. There are three ways you can submit a recommendation.
Option 1: Fill out the form online by clicking here.
Option 2: Click here to download a form-fillable PDF Member Recommendation Form. Fill it out electronically, save it to your computer and email it to email@example.com. If you choose this option, please make sure you have the newest version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer. You can obtain this for free at www.adobe.com/reader.
Option 3: Print the PDF, fill it out by hand and mail it to Fraternity Headquarters at 8702 Founders Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46268. Once the Fraternity receives the reference form, it will be reviewed and distributed to the appropriate chapter.
*Please note: We do not have a separate form for Alpha Xi Delta legacies. As stated in the Fraternity’s legacy policy, a Member Recommendation Form must be submitted for all Alpha Xi Delta legacies. If we do not receive the form prior to recruitment, the potential new member will not be recognized as an Alpha Xi Delta legacy.
