In 2009, Alpha Xi Delta proudly entered into a partnership with Autism Speaks to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders. Our alumnae Sisters have been vital in the success of this partnership and have reached many milestones in enhancing the Fraternity’s relationship with Autism Speaks. Band Together for Autism
On National Philanthropy Day, Alpha Xi Deltas participated in Band Together for Autism, distributing more than 13,000 blue wristbands on their college campuses and in their local communities. Alumnae support this project by distributing wristbands at work, school and in their neighborhoods.

Walk Now for Autism Speaks
Walk Now for Autism Speaks is the signature fundraising event of Autism Speaks. With more than 80 walks held across North America each year, Alpha Xi Deltas are proud to participate as walkers, team captains and committee volunteers. To find your nearest Walk Now for Autism Speaks, click here.

Volunteer Service
Alumnae Sisters take pride in volunteering for Autism Speaks. Volunteer activities include serving on Walk Now for Autism Speaks planning committees, making sensory kits to distribute to local families affected by autism, donating items to local schools and hosting Autism Speaks informational tables in their communities.
