Sisters,
International Badge Day is a day to celebrate our Sisterhood by wearing our beloved Quill badge. From our strong, genuine friendships to our dedicated work with our philanthropic partner Autism Speaks, Alpha Xi Deltas certainly have much to be proud of on this day of celebration.
In light of the recent loss of our Beta Mu Sisters from Bowling Green State University, the Fraternity would like to remind you of the proper way we mourn the loss of a Sister. The sign of mourning is to wear the Quill for three days with the letter “Xi” covered in black. It’s important to remember these Beta Mu Sisters this International Badge Day, as well as all of our Sisters who have entered Chapter Eternal.
If you know of a chapter or alumnae association that is sharing their Alpha Xi Delta pride in a unique way, let us know by posting special celebration notes, pictures and videos on our Facebook page and the International Badge Day Facebook event page. You can also join the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #badgeday12.
As we display our Panhellenic pride this month, be proud of who you are and your membership in Alpha Xi Delta – on March 5 and every day.
Heart Sunshine,
Sandi Edwards
National President
