Alpha Xi Delta is recognizing its volunteers this week by participating in National Volunteer Appreciation Month. In my role as National Executive Director at Fraternity Headquarters, I have the honor of working with several volunteers who share their time and talent to lead the Fraternity via our National Council, Alpha Xi Delta Foundation and Alpha Xi Delta National Housing Corporation.

Our volunteers have many reasons as to why they give so much of themselves to Alpha Xi Delta. One of the reasons we hear time and time again is that Alpha Xi Deltas choose to serve the Fraternity because they want to give back what they have been given. They are inspired by what they received during their college years from their advisors, local alumnae and national officers—basically, from alumnae just like you!

If you currently serve as an Alpha Xi Delta volunteer, thank you. We could not continue to live out the legacy of our Founders and inspire countless women to realize their potential without your dedicated time, talent and vision.
