With one week left until we celebrate our 119th Founders' Day, we thought it would be fun to dig into the archives to see how Sisters have celebrated this special occasion throughout the years. Below is a program from the 1907 Founders' Day Banquet with the Alpha Chapter. Edith Miller, Lombard '98, served as the Toastmistress for this event. Sisters dined on soup, roast turkey and enjoyed strawberry shortcake for dessert.

On the inside of the program is a quote from Herrick that can certainly apply to our modern-day Founders' Day celebrations - "Tis not the food but the content that makes the table's merriment."
Happy 119th Founders' Day, Sisters!
