Alabama
Zeta Xi, Auburn

The Zeta Xi Chapter at Auburn University proudly supported their Sister, Sara Hix, in the Miss Greek Week Pageant! All 17 sororities on campus entered a contestant and ticket sales benefited the Boys and Girls Club in Auburn, Alabama. Sara participated in evening wear, game day attire and an on-stage question, as well as an interview prior to the pageant. Sara placed 2nd in the annual Miss Greek Week pageant. Sara is currently the reigning Miss Magnolia and participated in the Miss Alabama pageant this past summer. She placed fourth in the Miss Auburn University pageant last year and plans to compete again this spring. Miss Greek Week is Auburn’s annual pageant during Greek Week. – Brooke Molnar,

Theta Zeta, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University/Prescott

Zeta Omega, University of West Georgia


The Zeta Omega Chapter at The University of West Georgia had their annual Sisterhood scarf swap at their chapter house where they wrapped up scarves and drank hot chocolate. The Epsilon Rho Chapter had an exciting Big/Little reveal at the New England Ethical Leadership Center this November. At the reveal, each of the Big Sisters gave their Little Sisters a stuffed animal!  - Valerie Sanborn,

Massachusetts
Iota Xi, Worcester Polytechnic Institute

The Iota Xi Chapter has been fundraising at Patriots football games, soccer games and concerts at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, to carry out home improvements on the chapter house. Sisters have raised over $5,000 so far this year, and $2,800 already went towards purchasing new doors and a key-fob system. The remainder of the profits is used to pay the mortgage on the chapter house. – Stephanie Post, stephaniepost@wpi.edu.

Michigan
Gamma Zeta, Eastern Michigan University

Missouri
Gamma Xi, University of Missouri-St. Louis

The Epsilon Xi Chapter hosts the Leslie Fox Benefit Dinner annually in memory of a fallen Sister who passed away due to brain cancer. This year, the University of Missouri-St. Louis provided space in the Century Rooms of the student center to allow the chapter to host a silent auction and dinner. Proceeds were raised through dinner admission, the silent auction, raffle sales and additional donations. Each Sister donated a basket to the auction. We received much support from Zeta Tau Alpha, who  donated a generous basket and helped with admissions. With the support of everyone who participated, the event raised a total of $2,300. All of the money raised was used to benefit the Bob Costas Cancer Center at Cardinal Glennon Hospital, Autism Speaks and the ZTA philanthropy. –Katie Lynn kalkc7@gmail.com

New Hampshire
Tau, University of New Hampshire

Alpha Xi Delta’s Tau Chapter teamed up with Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity to host a cookout with the Wildcat Friends organization at University of New Hampshire. Wildcat Friends is an organization on campus for teens with developmental disabilities from the surrounding towns. Wildcat Friends offers social and recreational opportunities for these teens. Alpha Xi Delta and Pi Kappa Phi held a cookout with games, socializing and lots of good food! Overall, the cookout was a great success. – Cassidy Parnell, cma89@wildcats.unh.edu

North Carolina
Iota Zeta, Wingate University


Every year at Wingate University, organizations decorate their floats to match the theme for Wingate's Homecoming. This year the theme was "ROCK THE GATE," and Alpha Xi Delta’s Iota Zeta Chapter won the homecoming parade competition for the 10th year in a row.  The chapter has won every year since their charter was established in 2001. This fall, the Gamma Chapter had a very successful, fun formal recruitment where they brought New York City to the University of Mount Union! From Fashion Week, to Times Square, to Central Park… they had it all. During philanthropy night, guests made tactile sock puppets that will be donated to children with autism. Gamma Tau, Ohio Northern University


The Gamma Tau Chapter initiated 14 amaXIng new sisters this fall – Karina Banuelos, Ashley Barrera, Allie Dolan, Ashley Ernst, Allison Fye, Kelsey Hoffman, Brittany Holland, Marissa Mauro, Brandea McIntyre, Holly Novacek, Cheyenne Patterson, Kaelyn Porvasnik, Elizabeth Ritz, and Danielle Wildman. Their new member period was nothing but excitement and fun! Beta Lambda, Penn State University

Every February, Beta Lambda dances to inspire, dances in hope and dances to find a cure for pediatric cancer. THON is Penn State’s 46-hour, no sitting, no sleeping, no stopping dance marathon that serves as a fundraiser for The Four Diamonds Fund at the Penn State Children’s Hospital. Alpha Xi Delta and Tau Kappa Epsilon teamed up to raise $86,247.53 for The Four Diamonds Fund. – Kiera Missanelli, kmissanelli@gmail.com

Zeta Eta, West Chester University

Memphis Area Alumnae Association


The Theta Pi Chapter hosted a reunion during Christian Brothers University’s Alumni Weekend.  With help from the active members of the chapter, the alumnae won the spirit award and enjoyed some Memphis BBQ, a soccer game, a tricycle race for children and old Alpha Xi Delta scrapbooks. – Laura Ramsey

The Delta Psi Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta participated in their campuses' Sorority Tour of Homes. All 6 sororities at Texas State University participated and showed off their homes to others in the Greek community. Washington
Nu, University of Washington

On November 7, the Nu Chapter at the University of Washington held their 103rd annual Pickle Mix. This event is an annual auction to raise money for Nu Chapter collegiate scholarships. This year, alumnae, parents and collegiate members made item donations, which ranged from vintage clothing to theater and opera tickets. The most prized item was a locket donated by alumnae that featured Alpha Xi Delta’s crest. This year the Pickle Mix helped the chapter raise more than $1,000, and scholarships will be given out to the collegiate women at our Founders' Day celebration in the spring. – Audrey Bastian,

West Virginia
Gamma Beta, Marshall University


The Sisters of the Gamma Beta chapter at Marshall University participated in NPHC's second annual party stroll competition. A group of 10 girls worked together to come up with two "strolls" for the event. The chapter competed against other sororities on campus and placed first. The Chapter was then able to perform one of their "strolls" at NPHC's annual homecoming step show. – Amanda Locke, Locke15@marshall.edu

Gamma Beta, Marshall University
Several Sisters from the Gamma Beta Chapter at Marshall University recently reconnected in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. 14 Sisters, mostly 1976-1979 graduates, where there. They had a great time reminiscing, catching up with what was going on in each other's lives and strengthening our bond of Sisterhood. To cap off the weekend, Sisters participated in a walk hosted by Georgetown Community Hospital for Breast Cancer Research.
