Sisters have gotten creative this year and are lighting it up blue in many different ways. Sisters from Kansas State University, the University of Texas and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse will be distibuting blue wristbands on campus. Our chapters at California State University, Northridge and Monmouth University will be handing out blue glow sticks on campus, and Sisters at the University of West Georgia will distribute blue lights and host a Light It Up Blue contest on campus.
And that's not all! Sisters from Indiana University of Pennsylvania will be selling blue lightbulbs on campus. Our chapter at West Virginia Wesleyan College is dying their campus fountain blue for the month of April, and Alpha Xi Deltas at Stetson University are distibuting blue cotton candy on campus. In addition, Sisters at Ferris State University, and their campus Starbucks, will be serving blue whipped cream on drinks to help shine a light on autism, and our chapter at Wingate University is hosting a Light It Up Blue Bash for their community.
If your chapter is not mentioned here, it's not too late to let us know what you are doing for World Autism Awareness Day. Please share what you're doing to raise autism awareness by sending photos to lfisher@alphaxidelta.org.
