Grants and Awards


AmaXIng Challenge Grants are an effort to empower and support chapters and associations in growing their events and fundraising capabilities in support of Autism Speaks. There are two separate applications: College Chapter Application and Alumnae Association Application.

Dorothy Dodd Panhellenic Leadership Grants are awarded for an Alpha Xi Delta Panhellenic delegate or Panhellenic officer on the campus to further leadership abilities and foster Panhellenic values. This grant provides funding to the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute sponsored by NIC. The application deadline is March 15. Get application.

Heart Fund Grants provide confidential emergency financial assistance to Alpha Xi Delta members touched by natural disasters such as fires or floods. Get application.

Zelma Patchin Grant provides financial assistance to Alpha Xi Delta alumnae seeking personal or professional development through conferences, programs or seminars that are not for credit. Applications must be filed sixty days prior to the program. Get application.


The Mary Place Hadley Award recognizes the alumna member who demonstrates the most outstanding current service to a college chapter. This award is given in National Convention years only. The application deadline is May 1. Get application.

The Slaymaker-Kinsey Academic Achievement Award recognizes the initiated member in each college chapter with the highest cumulative grade point average at the beginning of the academic year. The application deadline is September 30. Get application.

The Kathryn Faul Wallace Award recognizes college chapter financial advisors who demonstrate outstanding guidance to a college chapter. The application should be completed by a chapter Financial Vice President or other advisors. The application deadline is May 1. Get application.
